Hi lovelies, it's been a while since my last post and as usual it’s the same old excuse - work, lack of time and more work. The boring life of Temi!

The weather in London has been incredible recently and for once we can finally say that we are experiencing a well-deserved summer. I wore this multicolored, one-shoulder dress to church this morning and I felt like a little rainbow painting the town with colours. The rich colours and patterns of the dress demands very minimal accessorizing, hence why I teamed it with a lemon peep-toe sandals and white beaded bag.

Happy Monday lovelies! A pair of jeans and a white top is my kind of casual look, but to make my outfit more appealing I tend to add a pair of heels or wedges, a statement necklace or a bright coloured blazer. Just my way of jazzing up a boring outfit. This is what I wore last Saturday for a day out with my little sis. The shoes are one of my recent purchases from Zara (Oh my! the damages I have done in Zara lately...lol). I couldn’t decide between the kimono or the blazer, so I wore the kimono during the day and changed to blazer in the evening. Let me know which look you prefer?

As most of you know, the summer sales began a few weeks ago and I have been indulging in my favourite hobby - SHOPPING.  I remember my reaction when I saw the Zara’s S/S collection, like a little girl in a candy store I wanted everything. Of course that was impossible especially with some of the price tags, so I waited patiently knowing very soon the sales will start, and once it did, I ran to shops to buy my favourites.

I’ve always been a shoe hoarder, so it was no surprise that I bought four more pairs to add to my ever growing collection. As usual the colours I go for are bright, bold and cheerful, they go perfectly with my skin tone and brightens up everything look. I also bought a few coloured blazers which instantly give every look an instant makeover - it’s a perfect way of revamping your outfit. Plus adding a few colourful accessories also helps.

Lately, I have been so much on the go and my looks have been very relaxed and effortless. The weather in London has been pretty awful and uninspiring, with constant rain and clouds, it feels more like autumn than summer. But I’m optimistic, so fingers crossed it will get warmer soon, because there’s a whole load of summer dresses waiting to be worn. Happy Monday everyone x

Pretty Pastels

Dress by LOVE Clothing - TOPSHOP, Heels - STEVE MADDEN, Bag - MISS SELFRIDGE, Belt - PRIMARK

Pretty pastel hues have been all over the catwalk and are a big trend for this spring/summer. With a variety of colours to choose from, you can achieve a feminine and romantic look that suits all skin tone within minutes. As you all might have noticed, Yellow is one of my favourite colours. It is vibrant, summery and refreshing, plus it suits my skin tone perfectly.

It was nice and sunny on Saturday, surprisingly, so I opted for my Yellow Dress by LOVE Clothing to wear to a wedding I was attending. I didn’t have much time to get ready, so I teamed up the dress with a brown snakeskin bag and nude heels, just to be safe. I loved everything about my outfit; it was comfortable, feminine and a perfect choice of colour for the sunny weather, although, I soon realised that wearing a short dress to a Nigerian wedding might not have been the best idea (if you get my drift). Oh well! I was comfortable in my outfit and that’s all that mattered to me.

The month of April marks a year since I started blogging, whoa! how time flies.. I have enjoyed every moment of it, and I hope to blog more regularly, experiment on my photographic skills and comment on the latest fashion trends that I love. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all my regular members for following/commenting and to my new members, I welcome you all with open arms. It’s been a great weekend so far and I plan on having a relaxing Sunday. Happy Sunday everyone. x

Easy Breezy

It's the first day of my long bank holiday/leave weekend and I love it! 
It's so nice waking up late, having breakfast in bed and not having to go to work.

Hopefully the weather will change for the better, but if it doesn't, who cares, it's still a holiday and I am gonna have a blast.

Spring Crush

 On Saturday, I woke up to the ray of sunshine coming through my window and I smiled knowing this would be a beautiful day. Spring has finally sprung and I welcome it with open arms, and with such a beautiful weather at sight, what else is there to do but to wear the most colourful outfit to celebrate the start of a new season. My weekend was amazing; spending time with old friends, my hubby and chilling in the sun...my idea of absolute bliss. Hope you all had a lovely weekend? Love Temi

Sweet Sunshine

 I attended my friend's birthday/house party and decided to go for a casual look. My dress and shoes were very simple so I  teamed it up with a hint of colour by wearing my yellow coat. I love this swing coat. I bought it from RIver Island 2years ago and it is one of the most treasured item in my closet till date. The colour is so vibrant, perfect for a dull winter morning or a bright summer afternoon. It was a bit cold outside, so I detached the faux scarf from my Topshop coat (worn differently here post) to keep me warm. Its been a great weekend and I am still buzzing inside.
