Skirt - DIY | Top - VINTAGE (very old, can`t remember where I bought it) | Shoes - TOPSHOP | Purse -PRIMARK
Hi lovelies, hope you're all well?
As I previously mentioned, I sewed a mid-length and a long pleated skirt a few weeks ago, using a polyethers fabric.
I found the whole sewing process very easy, and I used an iron to create the pleats. I didn't use a pattern, I just measured my waist and hips and choose a skirt length.

I wore the mid-length skirt to church on Sunday, and to my surprise, everyone loved it.
I have sewed two more skirts in the past few weeks, all in different colours. I have plans to sew more skirts, shorts and dresses in the near future. So watch the space.
Sewing is becoming a whole new hobby of mine at the moment and I am loving it.
I have always enjoyed sewing and customising my outfits, it's my own little way of putting my personal touch and style into what I wear, and I would advise everyone to go out there, get a sewing machine and start sewing. You will love it!
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY DIY SKIRT?
Enjoy the rest of your week.
